Should a student be terminated or withdrawn for any reason, all refunds are made according to the
following refund schedule:
• Cancellation must be made in person or by Certified Mail.
• All monies will be refunded if the applicant is not accepted by the school or if the student cancels within three (3) business days after signing the enrollment agreement and making the initial payment.
• Cancellation after the third (3rd) Business Day, but before the first class, will result in a refund of all monies paid, with the exception of the registration fee, which is $100.
• Cancellation after attendance has begun, but prior to 40% completion of the period of enrollment, will result in a Pro-Rated refund computed on the number of hours completed to the total period of
enrollment.
• Cancellation after completing 40% of the period of enrollment will result in no refund.
• Termination Date. The termination date for refund computation purposes is the last date of the actual attendance by the student.
• The refund process will be initiated once a withdrawal notice is received in writing. The refund process will be completed 30 days after receipt of withdrawal/cancellation notice unless prior written arrangements are made with the administration.
• Should the school cancel courses or programs, the school will notify the enrolled student by phone and email. Tuition and registration fees paid for the specific course or program canceled will be refunded.
Disclaimer: The School cannot guarantee employment.
The Enrollment Agreement and/or contract in addition to the catalog shall be a binding agreement between the school and the student. The agreement shall not be binding until it is completed by the student and accepted by a school
representative.
Each semester the student will pay tuition either in installments or in full on or before the first day of school. The period of enrollment for which the refund policy applies is the 16-week semester. A pro-rata refund policy is applied to any student who withdraws from the program before 20% of the semester has been completed. The proration is based on the number of weeks completed. No refund will be provided to a student who withdraws their enrollment at or after 20% of the semester is completed. Therefore, if a student enrolls for 12 credits in a 16 week semester and drops
enrollment at the 4th week the pro-rata formula for refund would be as follows:
4 I 16 = 0.25 (or 25%)
No Refund Calculation Needed – School has earned all tuition for the semester.
This represents a non-refund of tuition based on the student withdrawing after 20% of the semester
has been completed. If a student enrolls for 12 credits in a 16 week semester and drops enrollment
at the 2nd week the pro-rata formula for refund would be as follows:
2 I 16 = 0.125 (or 12.5%)
Refund Calculation on 12 Semester Credits: $3,000 (Semester Tuition) X 12.5% = $375.00 earned by
School.
Refund = $2,625.00 to Student
This same formula applies to graduate program tuition.
Any refunds due to students will be paid within 30 days of the date of determination of withdrawal. For students to administratively withdraw, writing an email or letter to the institution of their official withdrawal will stand as the date they last attended, therefore making it the date of the termination for the purposes of processing a refund if applicable. For students who do not administratively withdraw from a program the date of the termination of withdrawal is within 14 days after the last date of attendance.
